Background
OceanTeacher is "published" by the International Oceanographic Data and Information Exchange (IODE) of UNESCO's Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission. Its editors and authors are principally volunteers, scattered around the globe. They include national agency scientists, retirees from marine-related organizations, and a few contractors. They are always glad to hear from you about any specific article, or to receive general comments and suggestions on overall content and structure.
