This section of OceanTeacher contains articles concerning the ways that locations on the earth surface, taking both height and depth above reference surfaces into account, are recorded in datasets or incorporated into data products -- including maps.
Recent Conference Proceedings on Geospatial Data
We provide here, however, as on all major topical pages in Marine Data Infrastructure, a listing of the most recent major international conference proceedings in this topic. We provide these resources here, because typically they precede formal publications (and large website resources) by seasons to years. Besides reading the articles listed below, the earnest reader should look through these papers to gain insight into the latest results and trends. Included among the conference presentation, are overview papers of considerable scope.
