Scope of this Section
This section of OceanTeacher contains a broad range of articles describing remote sensing concepts that should be known to a marine data manager. This is not a general survey of remote sensing technology, but covers only data management resources and methods.
Recent Conference Proceedings in Remote Sensing
We provide here, however, as on all major topical pages in Marine Data Infrastructure, a listing of the most recent major international conference proceedings in this topic. We provide these resources here, because typically they precede formal publications (and large website resources) by seasons to years. Besides reading the articles listed below, the earnest reader should look through these papers to gain insight into the latest results and trends. Included among the conference presentation, are overview papers of considerable scope.
